Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to design lingerie line for Marks & Spencer

British supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is set to release her first lingerie collection, Rosie for Autograph, exclusively through Marks & Spencer this autumn. The leggy blonde bombshell is already well known as the face of Autograph and internationally, she’s found fame as a model for American lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret but this will be the first time she tries her hand at designing.
Rosie has been modeling since 2003 and has also dabbled in the film world, making her movie debut in 2011 in ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ and signing on to star in 2013′s ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ alongside Charlize Theron. While Rosie has modeled for a number of international clothing labels including British brand Burberry, for which she most recently was photographed in nothing but an open trench coat to promote the Burberry Body fragrance she’s best known for her time as a lingerie model, so creating her very own lingerie line seems like a natural next step for the beauty.
The collection is set to premiere online and at select Marks & Spencer stores on August 30, and is set to include some 33 pieces, including lingerie sets, cami and French knicker sets, a luxurious kimono robe, and a teddy. Of her collaboration with Autograph and M&S, Rosie says, “M&S is an iconic British brand, adored by many, so I’m very excited to be launching my debut lingerie line with them. I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the design team to create my dream collection, and I’m looking forward to a fun and creative time ahead.”
Prices have not yet been released for the collection but it’s expected to offer high-end quality at a mid-range price. Rosie’s love of vintage lingerie reportedly influenced the collection, which is said to include plenty of printed pieces with rose prints, muted colors, silks and lace, and deco detailing to evoke luxurious, glamorous lingerie from the 1920s.
